Puerto Plata yacht rentals are one of the top bucket list tours in the North region, specially among cruise ship travelers visiting from the Amber Cove and Taino Bay cruise ship ports. The tours sail along the beaches of Sosua, stopping at various coral head snorkel sites and sailing along the coast; the spectacular vistas being the perfect backdrop for a relaxing day.

Catamaran or Yacht? The selection of boats will include monohull yachts such as Viking, Bertram, Hatteras and OceanYachts models; or multihull models such as Lagoon or Privilege catamarans. The catamarans have wider decks, and in some cases no flybridge, meaning even more deck space for being outdoors. The cost of a catamaran is higher, and some include up to 4 interior rooms with bathrooms.Ā  The size of the party might as well play a role in deciding which one to choose.
