Puerto Plata beaches offer beautiful golden sand, with turquoise waters with blue sky as a backdrop; In some cases pristine locations with secluded landscapes – all spread along the North Coast towns and the main district. The number of beaches in the region make up a long list of about 43, each with its own character. Right in the main district there are postcard quality beaches such as Long Beach, Camacho, Acapulco; Then best known Playa Dorada, Costa Dorada and Pueblito.
