2023 Cabarete Carnival
The 2023 edition of the Cabarete Carnival took place on March 25th, with a colorful parade that started on the main highway by Lifestyle Holidays Resort, entering through Mojito Bar, walked by the main highway and ended at the heart of Cabarete Beach. Cabarete is a vibrant community known for its great water sports that include kiteboarding and surfing, and has the only carnival in the island that is celebrated right on the beach.

This year it receives the active support of the Cabarete District Board, headed by its Mayor Freddy Cruz, who tells us: “The Cabarete Carnival is one of the cultural manifestations that keep the Dominican tradition alive, allowing our community to enjoy a great show and our tourists take a pleasant experience full of art and culture. This Carnival draws a crowd from all over Puerto Plata, the Dominican Republic and tourists from many other latitudes that visit the island in March.
