Puerto Plata Christmas 2022
Puerto Plata Christmas season 2022 initiated with the Great Christmas Gala on Sunday night December 11th, an event organized for the third time by Government Minister José Ignacio Paliza and his wife Isabel Brugal de Paliza.
More than five thousand people gathered at the Puerto Plata Amphitheater to enjoy the concert conducted by maestro José Antonio Molina and the National Symphony Orchestra, with the voices of artists such as Maridalia Hernández, Manny Cruz, Alex Bueno, Jackeline Estevez and others.

“I thank the Puerto Plata family who packed the Puerto Plata amphitheater last night to enjoy the third edition of the 2022 Christmas Grand Gala. I want to highlight the work done by my wife Isabel who led the organization. Merry Christmas,” Paliza said on Twitter.
“My appreciation to maestro José Antonio Molina and all the members of the National Symphony Orchestra, to Pinky Pintor for the excellent production, and to the guest artists,” he added.
The evening in front of the Atlantic Ocean was provided for those present to listen and dance to songs such as Caña Brava, Por Amor, Merry Christmas, Llegó Juanita, Papá Bocó, Christmas Without My Mother, Juan Lockward’s Dilemma, When I Kiss You, among others.

The Puerto Plata Historic Center has become, as every year, the center of Xmas celebrations for this Atlantic city. The area has been transformed with season decorations where families spend quality time day and night; also for photo ops, enjoying the Christmas atmosphere and the local cuisine and bars.
Cruise Ship Ports Visitors
Puerto Plata Christmas season 2022 has around 60 cruise ships scheduled for December, meaning the busiest cruise season in history, with more than 250,000 visitors from air, sea and land. New restaurants and bars complement existing ones, and the excellent security and standards set by the DR Ministry of Tourism is taking Puerto Plata to a new level.
