Greenland Bubble Glamping
Greenland bubble glamping in Cabarete is a unique concept ecolodge where visitors get to stay inside an air-sustained , deluxe bubble room complete with ensuite bathroom, poster bed, fine linens, safe deposit box, air conditioning and other amenities. Each bubble has its own private area with terrace, BBQ, hammock, and some offer direct access to the beautiful lagoon.
Pet rabbits walk around, and also beautiful ducks and peacocks. We heard a chorus of tropical birds and wondered if those were wild; to our surprise some came close to us and sang while perched on the nearby trees, so yes they’re wild. Nature lovers will love the bird watching, paddle boarding, walking in the savannah and sharing with pets in their natural environment.

What types of rooms are found at Greenland Bubble Glamping?
The rooms at Greenland are composed of 6 double bubbles and a family bubble. Each provides an open view for stargazing, so sleeping under the stars in an air conditioning room is for real. The rooms include shower cabin, toiletries, WC, WiFi, access to a parking area and concierge service.
To keep the bubble from deflating there is a double door that ensures air is kept in check when entering or exiting the bubble room. Outside the rooms there is a bbq area, hanging wooden lamps, chairs and seating area for each suite. Each suite offers a distinct environment in terms of size, location within the project and natural amenities surrounding it:
MONSTERA: A double bubble, named after a plant that entangles itself in the organic nest surrounding this room, a great visual experience that provides the room with privacy, while keeping great views of the fields nearby.
BAMBOO: A great suite surrounded by bamboo, featuring a rock-carved bathtub and a wooden deck facing the great landscape.
LOTUS: A double bubble suite in front of the lake that surrounds the property, where this plant gracefully grows, hence the name.
LA NIÑA DEL BARCO: A family bubble, with one king bed and two sofa beds.
PAPYRUS: A double bubble with exterior bathtub, offering many amenities.
PAMPA: Another double bubble with king bed over a wooden deck above the lake, surrounded by exotic plants.

What type of food is served in this ecolodge?
The kitchen at this luxury ecolodge has a healthy menu that includes organic ingredients, including hearty breakfast options based on Dominican countryside living. For meals we were quite impressed with their red tuna bowl, very delicious; the charcuterie en tabla, which includes dry nuts, various types of cheese, white rice, corn, black beans and cayena mayonnaise. Other great choices we found in the menu are the caldero de res, and caldero de camarones, we truly believe the food side at this ecolodge to be 5+ stars.
Top Activities in the area:
Being part of El Choco National Park, this luxury ecolodge offers a wealth of activities for nature and water sports lovers: Cabarete Beach is close by less than 7 minutes away by car, with its world class kite surfing, wind surfing, laser sailing and other sports.
